These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the AIAPS website, registry services, and related tools.

By using this website or any AIAPS-compatible services, you agree to these terms.

Section 01

Informational Purpose

The AIAPS specification is published as an open technical standard describing methods for identifying and verifying audio recordings designated as prohibited for unauthorized AI training.

The information provided on this website is for informational and technical purposes.

AIAPS does not provide legal advice.

Section 02

No Legal Enforcement Guarantee

The AIAPS standard provides technical mechanisms for identifying protected recordings, including fingerprinting, watermarking, and registry records.

AIAPS does not guarantee that AI systems, platforms, or third parties will comply with protection notices or usage declarations.

Enforcement of rights related to recordings remains the responsibility of the rights holder.

Section 03

Registry Records

The AIAPS registry records identifiers and associated metadata for protected recordings.

Registry entries are intended to provide verifiable evidence that a recording was designated under the AIAPS standard at a specific time.

AIAPS does not independently verify ownership of recordings submitted for registration.

Section 04

Use of the AIAPS Protection Mark

The AIAPS protection mark:

AIAPS-PROTECTED

Unauthorized AI training prohibited.

may be displayed in connection with recordings that have been protected under the AIAPS standard.

Use of the mark does not by itself constitute compliance with the AIAPS specification.

A recording is considered AIAPS-compliant only if it includes the required components defined in the AIAPS specification.

Section 05

Specification Availability

The AIAPS specification is publicly available and may be implemented by compatible tools and services.

Implementations claiming compatibility with the AIAPS standard must follow the requirements defined in the specification.

The AIAPS website, registry, and related tools are provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind.

AIAPS makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, availability, or effectiveness of the services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIAPS shall not be liable for damages arising from use of the website, registry, or associated tools.
